TN Soccer Registration (VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS DONE ASAP)
Lastly it is very important for you to go on the Tennessee affinity website to register your player for the season. This will allow me to go ahead and create teams in rosters so that we are prepared to move forward into games and register for state league as soon as games are able to be played. Please see below the steps to get this accomplished:
· Click on the REGISTRATION tab located top right center
· Select Year 2020-2021 in drop down
· Select Player Registration
· Log in to your TN Affinity account
o If you do not have one, you need to create one
· Look at names and make sure they are right and click CONTINUE
· Find the Player’s name and select REGISTER PLAYER
· Choose level for your player
o 2002/2003 select D2
o 2004/2005 select D2
o 2006 select D2
o 2007/2008 select D3
o 2009/2010/2011/2012 select D3 Academy
· Fill out the required information
o There may be a question about a refund, applying to next season or donation. This is in the process of getting fixed and is for a prior season and nothing to do with this registration. However, you must select one but please know it has nothing to do with the registration of this season.
· Click Save and Next
· Read and Accept all boxes
· Click Agree and Continue
· Click No Payment Due and Continue
· Registration should be complete!
UC United is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. We have been in Cookeville for more than 23 years helping soccer players improve on and off the field. Many of our players have succeeded at the high school, state, and college levels. Board members are elected by the membership to serve 2-year terms and are not paid. Being a non-profit allows all members to get involved and make this the best club they can. We are always looking for volunteers and community partners. First and foremost, we hope that everyone is safe and healthy. It has been a strange, and difficult year, to say the least. We are looking forward to getting your player(s) back on the field. Registration for our Modified Fall Season is NOW OPEN and will be open until August 16. Due to the continued uncertainty with everything, we are offering a modified recreational season this fall at a discounted cost of $50 per player, with a sibling discount and a family max of $125. Due to the nature of the season, and what is being offered, no refunds will be given.
UC UNITED Recreational soccer is for all children ages 3-15. We offer playing opportunities for players of all experience levels, even those that have never played before. Our focus is on having fun and learning the fundamentals of soccer.
As it currently stands, games/scrimmage are not being allowed due to the Governor’s Executive Order concerning contact sports. This is set to end on August 29, but we’re not guaranteed that will happen. Training sessions are being allowed with no more than 50 participants in a group while maintaining distance between players.
After registration is completed, we will divide everyone up into teams as normal. Each team will be offered at minimum, an hour training session on a weeknight. Depending on scheduling, multiple teams may train together within an age group. Until games/scrimmages are allowed, we will offer a second training session on Saturdays. If, and when games/scrimmages are allowed, we will play games on Saturdays.
Due to the nature of the season, everyone will be given the same shirt. We will be including a logo on every shirt honoring the 19 lives lost in the March 3rd tornado. Partnerships will be available with the partner’s logo going on the back of each shirt. Family shirts will also be offered during the registration process. You will be asked to choose a size during the registration process and then asked to click the “Additional Shirt” option on the payment screen. If, and when we can play games/scrimmages practice jerseys will be worn to distinguish teams. Also, to save on costs minimal referees will be utilized, tournaments will not be offered at the end of the season, pictures will not be offered, and medals/trophies will not be given.
All Registration must be performed online. Please follow the link below to register your player(s) for soccer.
If you do not have access to a computer, one will be accessible at the soccer complex (497 Whiteaker Springs Rd., Cookeville, TN 38506) at the dates and times listed below.
On-Site registration at the Soccer Complex will be:
· Saturday, August 1, 9:00am – 10:30am
· Thursday, August 6, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
· Saturday, August 15, 9:00am – 10:30am
Our fees are as follows:
· Ages 3 – 15: $50.00
There is a $125 maximum in recreational fees per family. There is a $5 discount for each child in a family after the first. There are also discounts available to coaches and partners.
We are always looking for Partners.
Rec Partnership Fee: $200.00
As a rec partner, your logo or business name will appear on all shirts this season. You will also receive a team photograph/plaque for display in your place of business. If you are interested in a partnership, please let me know.
We are also always looking for coaches. Coaches get a discount and have a say in their practice times. You will be asked whether you would like to coach during the registration process. If you have questions or would like to coach please let me know.
